Jim earned his BA at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and his MA at Chico State. Formerly a tax auditor for the IRS, a bilingual resource teacher for Butte County Migrant Education, and a senior paralegal and office manager at the law office of Richard Dangler, Jim worked as a paralegal and then senior paralegal with the John A. Tosney law group for twelve years before joining the Law Offices of Gabriel Liberman.

Originally hired to write briefs and oversee law and motion matters, Jim now consults with clients and answers their questions throughout the bankruptcy process. He currently meets with clients two days per week in Yuba City and 1 day in Fairfield. He enjoys finding solutions for clients with complex and difficult financial obligations.

When he has time, Jim enjoys traveling extensively. He regularly attends sporting events and enjoys skiing during the winter and reading a good book by the pool during the summer.
